Nicole Bacon is a staff attorney with Legal Services of Northern Virginia in the Alexandria office.  She obtained a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Spanish from the University of Virginia, and later earned her J.D. from American University Washington College of Law.  Nicole is licensed to practice law in Virginia as well as the U.S. Fourth Circuit, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. At the University of Virginia, Nicole volunteered with Madison House, teaching English to migrant workers and tutoring ESL students in areas surrounding Charlottesville, Virginia.  During her studies at the Washington College of Law, Nicole sat on the board for the Black Law Student Association.  She also served as a Marshall Brennan Fellow.  Through this fellowship, she taught D.C. high school students with the aim of ensuring Constitutional literacy. In addition to being a public interest lawyer, Nicole is also a visual artist and works in a variety of mediums including acrylic, watercolor, collage, and mosaic. Nicole has also volunteered as a mural assistant.
